Snow? What? In Texas ??

It snowed ALL DAY today - amazing white, fluffy stuff - very heavy!!!  Dell closed in Austin at noon today, so Mike got home early, and we took a drive around the neighborhood to take a few pictures!  These are basically unedited, but wanted to share ...

School let out early in Belton, so there were kids out everywhere having fun!

My entry in the contests ...

The Heart of Texas Scrapbook Club held its 39th event this past weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn in Temple.  We had two contests, and although I worked on a second layout, I didn't think that it was finished, so I entered my sketch layout in the Art Show too. 

The photos were taken by poki at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Tx on May 23, 2009.  The dragongly was a willing model.  The background and embellishments are designed by Joni Gray "The Lakehouse"  The sketch was drawn by our amazing sketch hostess, Courtney Gregory from Round Rock!
